------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than eight points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the blacklist for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the blacklist you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher brother you mean. Don't use the abbreviation JV, as it can mean both Jacques Villeneuve and Jos Verstappen, and neither one of them is driving right now anyway.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship blacklist can still participate in Rate the race.

Wow, a interesting race from one of the plasses we less expected it. But, despite being a worthy show this year, Magny Cours must go. There are better tracks in France. Well, on with the notes:

3 points to Michael Schumacher. Consistent during all the weekend, on sunday he drove in a way he was not used to. Pushing to the limit every lap. Chalenging himself to go faster and faster. Like the brazilian TV narrator said: "With the same number of stops of the others, he wins; with on less stop, he wins; with one more stop, he wins; translate that in one word: genius."

2 points to Rubens Barrichello. A problem on his Ferrari made him try and classify with not the best set-up, and to get the track in less than perfect conditions to qualify. But, during the race, managed to go from 10th to 3rd, overtaking on track at least two contenders (and TV somehow lost both!), A great, great performance. Two points also to Fernando Alonso. Fantastic saturaday, flawless sunday. The spaniard was in need of a race like that, in order of not being overshadowed by his teammate.

1 point To Coulthard. The competent race of always, crowned by a great display of skills on saturday. David proved two things: one, the new McLaren is a step foward, and two, he's on the market with merits for a seat on Williams or Toyota.

quality: I'll have to disregard the TV transmition quality and give the race a good 7
satisfaction: With a podium grabbed on the last sec... another 7

3 points - Michael Schumacher: just brilliant
2 Points - Fernando Alonso: totally outshone his teammate
2 Points - Rubens Barrichello: one of the few drivers actually making a pass on the track
1 Point - Mark Webber

Quality - 6: should have been higher but the director was the worst this year
Satisfaction - 10: Michael pulling off the 4-stop, it doesn't get any better
