Marcus Gronholm did what we on average expected of him and went away with the win. The retirements of Solberg and Rovanpera cost people dearly. Moanaman takes a clear win, ahead of dnbn. Rob G, The Kanisteri and Ric Bol share the final podium spot. Ric Bol once again closes in on leader Makarias, who finished in the midfield.

Remark : I overlooked edits by The Kanisteri and race addicted, so their scores have been changed. Sorry for the oversight.

Awarding points for each guess gives the following expected result:
1 Gronholm 123 (21.0%)
2 P.Solberg 122 (20.9%)
3 Loeb 84 (14.4%)
4 Martin 66 (11.3%)
5 Sainz 65 (11.1%)
6 Rovanpera 37 (6.3%)
7 Hirvonen 35 (6.0%)
8 Tuohino 23 (3.9%)
9 Duval 18 (3.1%)
10 Lindholm 7 (1.2%)
11 H.Solberg 3 (0.5%)
12 Carlsson 2 (0.3%)

RULES
The rules are fairly simple, all you have to do is predict the top 8 for the upcoming rally in the simple format of

your username/dvr1/dvr2/dvr3/dvr4/dvr5/dvr6/dvr7/dvr8

Again the scoring is done on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis

10 points scored if your driver finishes in the position predicted
8 points if your selection finishes 1 place away (i.e. 1st or 3rd when you said second)
all the way down to
1 point if your selection finishes 7 places away.

No points will be awarded if your selection finishes outside the points positions or if he retires from the rally.

A 20 point bonus will be awarded if you get them all correct so you can in theory score 100 in each round.

Results will be posted at the end of each rally after the podium ceremony. Results will NOT be adjusted after any revisions to the result occuring after midnight GMT on the final day of the rally.

Entries must be in before the start of the first stage of the rally.

Post your Entries for Germany below.. the rally starts on Friday the 20th August.

bah, humbugh!

15 The Kanisteri (10/6/6/0/0/5/0/0) 27

er..

My bet was
The Kanisteri/Grönholm/Märtin/Tuohino/Solberg/Loeb/Rovanperä/Sainz/Carlsson

The results were:
1. Marcus GRÖNHOLM
2. Markko MÄRTIN
3. Carlos SAINZ
4. Sébastien LOEB
5. Janne TUOHINO
6. Jani PAASONEN
7. Francois DUVAL
8. Toni GARDEMEISTER

should my score be:
(10/10/6/0/8/0/4/0) = 38

???

Edit:

Note : Peugeot is fielding Cedric Robert in the 2nd car rather than Rovanpera and Ford is fielding Duval instead of Tuohino. Full entry list here

Sorry Moanaman, by the time of your post 4 stages had been run. I don't want to play the bad guy, but there's enough time before the deadline and I've posted advance warnings about the start time of the rally.

Once again, sorry, but there were about 11 days and 19 hours between the time I posted this thread and the start of the rally. If you choose to post late, that's your choice, but you've still got the same deadline as anyone else. I want to keep this game fun, but we've got a deadline to give everyone fair chances. Allowing an entry after 4 stages would be unfair to the others. Better luck next time
