Score for the Popularity Poll: 509 points; 27 points in Brazil.

Congratulations to Pioneer for taking the 2004 PTPC title in a very strong way! Slightly smaller congratulations to Estwald and mimin for the two other podium spots.

The scores at the Brazilian GP ended up being surprisingly high, with everyone scoring at least 10+8+4 points for JPM, Kimi and Ralf, with most also getting something from Alonso.

The PTPC forecast may be a very unsophisticated prediction tool, but as early as by the
post-Monaco forecast, it managed to pick the five best names. Not in the correct order though.

The entries

Drivers' listings

Explanations for what these lists mean can be found here

-The expectations fulfillment list:

Glock Good!

Pizzonia 14400.0 %

Baumgartner 1200.0 %

Button 267.9 %

Sato 224.2 %

Barrichello 165.1 %

M Schumacher 154.8 %

Fisichella 147.1 %

Massa 119.3 %

Trulli 113.7 %

Klien 110.8 %

Alonso 94.6 %

Montoya 65.2 %

Heidfeld 60.8 %

Räikkönen 52.9 %

Coulthard 45.3 %

Webber 45.2 %

Panis 40.3 %

R Schumacher 30.9 %

da Matta 17.2 %

All others 0 %
The teammates are lined up next to each other here: BAR, Ferrari and Sauber all had good seasons. Renault went pretty much according to expectations and the rest of the teams must be disappointed with the season.

-The surprising drivers list:

Glock Total surprise

Pizzonia 200.0 %

Button 144.1 %

Sato 117.2 %

M Schumacher 98.7 %

Barrichello 94.2 %

Fisichella	71.0 %

Alonso 66.3 %

Trulli 63.0 %

Baumgartner 50.0 %

Montoya 49.6 %

Massa 38.7 %

Räikkönen 37.2 %

Coulthard 32.0 %

Klien 27.3 %

Heidfeld 23.1 %

Webber 20.6 %

R Schumacher 19.4 %

Panis 15.4 %

da Matta 6.7 %

All others 0 %
Michael Schumacher was two points away from making a 100% surprise in the end, so I guess he spun that one away.

-How many participants each driver has surprised this year:

Button 48

Glock 48

Pizzonia 48

Sato 48

Barrichello 47

M Schumacher 47

Baumgartner 44

Fisichella 42

Trulli 35

Massa 30

Klien 27

Alonso 16

Heidfeld 8

Panis 7

Webber 6

Thank you for 2004 and see you again next year!
