I am planning on Silverstone in 2005. Can anyone tell me if Luffield A is a good stand? Most importantly, does it give a clear view for photographs? Or, will I be looking through fencing? Thanks.

Yep. I have been in the Brooklands stand many times, and find that I'm shooting at around 250mm.

Thanks. At 250mm how are the cars framed in the picture? Are you getting the whole car in the frame or more than one car? Luffield looks a little farther away than Brooklands.

Uffen the one of Trulli crashing on the link I gave you was of the exit of bridge from Luffiled B it was just there to give you an idea of where you'll be able to see

this one is taken at Luffield turn

Posted Image the framing may be a little further away, it depends on what you want to get quality wise. and also what type of equipment you'll be taking. PM me and we can discuss it is you like?
