Just a thought on improving/streamlining the B.B., quite often topics of disscusion surface through the course of various threads in the readers comments that are not strictly related to F1, but are important and/or interesting. I've often thought that a seperate area within the readers comments section of the B.B. where you could post threads that are not directly F1 related would be a worthwhile addition.

Maybe they mean NASCAR, CART, WRC, etc [neither F1 or 100% OT]

Or Junoir members saying "Hello". After all, they can't join the paddock club IIRC

I am aware of the Paddock club, the advantage of the readers comments is that it is available to non-members as well. Why do you think people spray graffiti in public places,it provides a public forum for there comments be they pertanent or totally misguided.

Silver Fan,

I come to this site to learn and discuss F1. If I need to discuss other matters, I go to the Paddock Club. If I have a need to become a vandal, I write my legislator. :)

Silver fan, there is no way to build a forum within a forum, so how do you expect to have "a separate area" in Readers Comments?

I think the system works fine as is. With Paddock and chat, we have two OT platforms (although some chatters get peeved if F1 isn't discussed 24/7). The entry requirements for Paddock aren't exactly dire - 31 posts and an email to Pit Babe. If we make too many fora, things get confusing for most.

One thing ya can always say about theMot; there's no BS when he wants to make a point. And that is good. :)
