can anyone sugest any nice hotels in Nice (excuse the pun!)
For the last 3 years me and my husband have stayed in the Albert1st hotel )not sure of spelling= and are looking for other sugestions

I'm looking as well... Anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking I might do a hostel... Also, does anyone have advice on the best grandstand seats to buy?

I've gpt an apartment to let for the weekend, if anyone's interested ?
It's a bit of a way from Monaco (an hour by car), but it sleeps 4/5 people, so if you're in a group and on a budget it may be what you're looking for.
I'll be going myself, so transport can prob be arranged.

I think there's a hotel called the Bristol Hotel in Nice, run by an English couple. It was recommended by F1 Racing mag a few years back for it's central location and budget prices. Sorry don't have anymore details though.

I thought I would just let people know what I ended up doing...
I'm staying at Hostel Faubourg Montmartre for Friday and Saturday night... It's supposed to be a nice, fun hostel right near the train station. Good location for getting to Monaco during the day.
On Sunday night I am staying at Villa Saint Exupery. It's used to be a monastery and holds some charm. You get a nice view of Nice. (I couldn't help myself.) You have to take a 10-minute bus from the train station, but at that point the race will be complete.
Is anyone planning to hang out for drinks in Monaco over the weekend?
