Hi! :)

Now that I've managed to establish myself as a serious contender for a lifetime achievement award in lazy gamehosting, it's time to move on and post some results. Better late than never and all that; here are the correct answers for Round 4 (San Marino) :

Duel outcomes, round 4 (San Marino)

	Qualifying: Outcome Worth (pts)

1	Renault – Ferrari	X (78 %)	1,22

2	Toyota – McLaren	X (68 %)	1,32

3	BAR – Williams X (65 %)	1,35

4	Sauber – Red Bull	1 (8 %) 1,92

5	Minardi – Jordan	2 (78 %)	1,22

6	Ferrari – McLaren	2 (5 %) 1,95

Total for qualifying (max) 8,97

Race:

7	Renault – Ferrari	1 (19 %)	1,81

8	Toyota – McLaren	X (81 %)	1,19

9	BAR – Williams 2 (62 %)	1,38

10	Sauber – Red Bull	X (38 %)	1,62

11	Minardi – Jordan	2 (51 %)	1,49

12	Ferrari – McLaren	1 (43 %)	1,57

Total for race (max) 9,05

Overall (max) 18,03
Fridgestone can’t qualify. Red Bull were at sea for no apparent reason. And BAR are too cute for their own good. Other than that, no major surprises this time.

The above is based on the official race result, i.e. Button and Sato disqualified, Ralf slapped with a time penalty. Note that qualifying remains unaffected by what went on in post-race scrutineering and Court of Appeals. For all the legal bagels out there, I even have a precedent – the Canadian GP 2004 where Toyota and Williams were disqualified for sporting illegal brake thingies (heh, my technical education’s really paying off handsomely in terms of vocabulary).

Game host kismet is about as fast off the line as Mark Webber but manages to fend off Shadow and LB to finish second, albeit barely.

Hola!

Righty, this is me doing Spain. As it happens, I managed to pick not one but two BAR brawls for Barcelona. I thought that was a clever idea following their improved San Marino form but, of course, what I failed to foresee is that f***ing with the FIA rulebook is a banning offence. Since said banning happened relatively late and BAR’s decision not to try and get an injunction of some sort was made later still, the not-so-official F1 Pools Fair Play Work Group (me again) has decided that the fair thing to do is to wipe off the BAR duels and pretend they never existed. Unfortunately this means that round 5 is a bit of a midget but… *shrug* …can’t be helped. Here are the correct answers:

Duel outcomes, round 5 (Spain)

	Qualifying: Outcome Worth (pts)

1	McLaren – Ferrari	1 (3 %) 1,97

4	Red Bull – Sauber	X (66 %)	1,34

5	Jordan – Minardi	1 (89 %)	1,11

6	BAR – McLaren - -

Total for qualifying (max) 5,68

8	Toyota – Williams	1 (39 %)	1,61

10	Red Bull – Sauber	1 (8 %) 1,92

11	Jordan – Minardi	1 (74 %)	1,26

12	BAR – McLaren - -

McLaren continue on their way to world domination as Ferrari sink to new depths. :

The biggest and flashiest trophies Posted Image go to Schuting Star and d_view7 who reign in Spain. And a lameness award for me for that sad and pathetically overused rhyme. Behind the triumphant duo, dnbn racks up another podium finish.

And the F1 Pools World Tour continues. The place is Monaco, and here are the correct answers for Round 6:

Minardi outqualifies Jordan, and Williams comprehensively outperforms Ferrari. Who would’ve thought? Well, as it turns out, not many. Heh, first times for everything.

Results:
Ooh, total domination! Last year’s championship runner-up Makarias obliterates the rest of the field in Monaco. SkorbiF1 finishes second even though his qualifying promised more, and Viss1 claims the third place on the podium. Congrats! Have a trophy each. Posted Image x 3
