------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than ten points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the ignore list for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the ignore list you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher brother you mean. Don't use the abbreviation Mont, as it could mean either Montoya or Monteiro.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship ignore list can still participate in Rate the race.

I hate to say i-told-sos, but... "I told so". Since the first race.

I guess there is now any doubt the tyre rule must be changed. If Kimi went off the track on a place with a wall closer... And he was not the only one suffering with rubber damage. Add to the list Alonso, Michael Schumacher, Felipe Massa, and others.
I hope to the end of the year we will see some real racing, instead of the present russian roulette.
There's nothing good that can be said about this artificial way to bring excitement to races putting drivers well-being at stake

Anyway, the highlights:

2 points to First, Kimi Raikkonen Fast the whole weekend, suffered with a damaged tyre that ruined his suspension and could have him seriously injuried. A weekend where the driver was fine, the car was fine, the problem is the rules. David Coulthard also deserves two points, for the steady and strong weekend. And Fernando Alonso, also with his rear tyres almost gone, made a solid race and was lucky enough to win. Heavens know how much he would stay in the track, too.

1 point gang sure, he was very light to the qualys. But this does not take the merit out of Nick Heidfeld, a great performance at home, no doubt. A similar strategy also gave important points to Rubens Barrichello. His race may be a bit conservative, but delievers important results. As for Felipe Massa, what can be said? Great qualy, a real fighter in the race, keeping himself ahead of much faster cars of Schumacher and JPM. Another race ruined due this stupid tyre rule.
... and a point left in the hope those tyres rules change...

Quality: On the account it was not a race, but a clear russian roulette... 4
Satisfaction: Can't give more than 5
