Nanni
(and when I pass riding my motorcycle with my self-made-Amon-replica helmet on my head, sometime I see some people look at my helmet... think over... recognize it... and smile ;) )

Do you have any more of the sports car race at the Farm?

And one from 1970...
1971? Looks like the Lotus 70. Dave Walker drove the car in AGP in November 1970 and David Oxton drove it in the 1st Tasman round at Levin in Jan 1971. Amon drove a March 701 at Levin and STP were sufficiently unimpressed with the car that they purchased the 70 prior to the 2nd round at Pukekohe. Amon drove the car there with Oxton relegated to the March.

Of course it's 1971. I took more interest in '68 and '69 I guess.

You're not the only one. The F5000 era international entry was a letdown after watching the likes of Clark, Stewart, Hill (both G and P), Rindt, McLaren, Hulme, Brabham, Amon, Rodriguez and Courage. Chris Amon and Mike Hailwood were the only international names likely to have registered with casual spectators in NZ in the 70's.

Yes, but only a few: and Chris Amon in the Lotus 70 was 1971. I should have been more detailed in my comment/caption.
