------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than ten points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the ignore list for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the ignore list you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher brother you mean. Don't use the abbreviation Mont, as it could mean either Montoya or Monteiro.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship ignore list can still participate in Rate the race.

Kimi Raikkonen 3 - great race pace
Montoya 2 - unlucky - could have given Kimi a run for his money
Michael Schumacher 3 - brilliant quals with reasonable fuel load, good race given the car/tyres
Ralf -2 qualified well (heavier then Trulli) and drove well

Quality - 7 (not enough overtaking but excellent strategic battles)
Satisfaction -7

... well, we're talking Hungaroring here. Not much to expect, so this race was a pleasant surprise. It has not only action on track, but off track too. So, our winners:

3 points to the iceman Kimi Raikkonen. Just the fact of winning Hungaroring without starting in the front row is remarckable. Kudos to McLaren strategy, did everything right, and the driver did his part with a secure racing. And Exciting, too, thanks to his battle with Michael Schumacher, who also gets 3 points. Amazing pole on saturday and, sunday showed, he was not the lightest car on track. multiple titles, poles, records... and he still is faster than his ecquipment, still has the motivation and will to win.

1 point gang First, to Ralf Schumacher, perfect on the weekend Toyota shined; also, let's make justice to Juan Pablo Montoya, who would clearly win this race, if McLaren reability didn't striked... again. Also, congratulations to Jarno Trulli, for the reasons everybody knows already. And, last but... well, at last, to Takuma Sato, for getting a positive result for the team.

Quality. It's Hungaroring, and is as good as Hungaroring can get. 6

Satisfaction. I'd say 9 Good for Ferrari, good for the c'ship

Räikkönen gets 2 points. I just have to restrain myself from giving him three points because he didn't have to give all he got until Montoya retired. Not his fault, but still.

Montoya gets 2 points as well. Maybe he got it in is bag, maybe not. We'll never know. Great race.

M Schumacher gets one point, R Schumacher one too(especially for keeping his line for the championship.. kidding... sort of...

The rest, none.

Oh yes,

the quality is around 7 points. A good one, definately.

And I'm extremely satisfied with the result, almost a perfect one for the championships. 9 points.
