The longest ever "How long will it take to lap..." season has come to an end! Our driver of choice has proven to be much less predictable than his predecessor (Zsolt). While Apex managed a total of 6 perfect guesses last year, this year the most perfect guesses a player got is 3... Furthermore, the winner of this years competition was off by more than 120 laps, while last years champ weasle made due with 57.
86 players put in their guesses to race for this years crown. Only 39 were left when the final flag was waved in China.
The law of averges played out well again for kismet. Putting in the same number all season, he achieved a spot well inside the top 5 again. Only him and Narain know where he gets that number from ;). Last years champion weasle put it all on the line in a last ditch effort to make it to the top in the last two races - it didn't pay off. Weasle dropped from 8th to 23rd in two races. StickShift managed to recover from a missed guess and snuck past 5 players who didn't miss a guess!
Like last year - even more so actually - it came down to the wire again. This season was decided in the very last race. And we indeed have a clear winner...
After a record breaking 13 weeks at the top of the championship, pungzilla the 2003 HLWITTLJ champion, was surpassed by the AtlasF1 Fantasy Manager organizer and new 2005 HLWITTLK Champion:
