I've come up with a few (not too serious) categories to vote in as a summary of the 2005 F1 season. If you have any suggestions on other things to vote about, post them here along with these first votes and I'll consider doing them after these first ones. Voting will close in about a week or so.

Voting rules especially for the post-season Votings:
* Vote for at least THREE candidates in each category you're voting in.
* You can give either 3 or 2 or 1 vote points to each candidate.
* You can distribute no more than FOURTEEN points within each Voting category.

The Categories:

Drive of the year 2005
* Specify driver name and which Grand Prix in your votes!
* Drive of the year should certainly be a good drive, but not necessarily perfect. It is also hugely important that it is an ENTERTAINING drive, well worth remembering.

Sexiest F1 driver 2005
* Yeah seriously! Eligible candidates are all F1 race drivers, ie not testing drivers.

F1 livery of the year 2005
* Vote for the colour scheme of the car (the NICEST looking ones iyo), not the physical shape of the car or any other nonsense.

F1 big shot of the year 2005
*Eligible candidates are F1 bigwigs like team bosses, Bernie, Max, and others. Also leading tech folks like Brawn, Newey, Tilke etc. NOT cannon fodder like the lollipop guys or the drivers. Not TV commentators either.
* The criteria to vote for someone in this category should be that they've done their job well this season, whatever that may be. Some of these guys are supposed to add to the spectacle of F1, so consider this as well.

Drive of the year:
Three superb drives that come immediately to my mind:
Kimi Raikkonen / Suzuka 3
Michael Schumacher / Imola 3
Fernando Alonso / Suzuka 3

very honorable mentions:
- Pedro de la Rosa / Bahrein 2
- Kimi Raikkonen / Monaco 1
- Kimi Raikkonen / Hungary 1
- Fernando Alonso / Shanghai 1

sexiest drivers:
too difficult to decide  :cat:

F1 livery:

I don't give any points for any car where you can hardly see their number
So: zero points.

Big Shot Of The Year

Pierre Dupasquier 3 (even despite Indianapolis - but at least he was frank&responsible about it)

Bob Bell 2

Pat Symonds 1
Flavio Briatore 1
Mike Gascoyne 1
Christian Horner 1
Peter Sauber 1
Max Mosley 1  (Just a pat in the back for his stubborness regarding Indy, though he should have been there in the first place)

that leaves another 3 points - but who the hell..... (I guess we can't vote for, say, Bira or Dieter Rencken either)

May I add that it is OK to vote for the same driver in several races in Drive of the year.

Kimi Raikkonen / Suzuka 2

Bridgestone Boss- 2forget his name-him and his company at least had safety in mind when the one tyre rule was created.

Mike Gascoyne 1
Christian Horner 1
Peter Sauber 1
Max Mosley 1 (Indy matter dealt with correctly by him)

I think there needs to be more votes for these votings to be valid... I'll keep the votings open until the end of the year, and any voting that hasn't got votes from ten different voters by then will be declared null/void.

Nah, it's dead and buried, see my earlier post. A quiet and peaceful ceremony it was...
