In order to give everyone time to guess, here's the guessing thread for Sebring. Please note that the deadline's been set at the start of qualifying rather than free practice.

Rules

What to do
Predict the top 8 for the upcoming event in the simple format of 'your username/dvr1/dvr2/dvr3/dvr4/dvr5/dvr6/dvr7/dvr8'.

Scoring
Scoring is done on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis. 10 points scored if your driver finishes in the position predicted, 8 points if your selection finishes 1 place away (i.e. 1st or 3rd when you said second), all the way down to 1 point if your selection finishes 7 places away. No points will be awarded if your selection finishes outside the points positions or if he retires from the rally. A 20 point bonus will be awarded if you get them all correct, so you can in theory score 100 in each round.

There are 6 Superclass events, namely the Sebring 12 Hours, the DTM opening round, the Indianapolis 500, the Le Mans 24 Hours, the F1 race at Monza and the Bathurst 1000. In these rounds points will count double. These rounds also always count.

Of the remaining 27 events, your best 9 will count full points. Numbers 10-18 will count for 60% and numbers 19-27 will count for 30%. So you don't necessarily need to compete in every single round to win the championship. You can choose to compete in less rounds and be better at them.

Deadline

Entries must be in before the start of first practice of the event. Exact deadlines will be posted for each event.

Thread posting

Due to the short periods between each event, guessing threads will be posted on a hop-over basis, meaning the result thread for week 1 will include the guesses for week 3, while the result thread for week 2 will include the guesses for week 4. Depending on my vacation schedule, I could be posting longer in advance.

Guess posting

In general please stick to the available thread. If for some reason you want to guess for a week that isn't up yet, feel free to PM me your guess.
