are penalties because of engine changes taken into account? E.g. Massa's result counts before or after the penalty?

Yep, I was about to say that, but sergino was faster. Rules say:

"... the result will be calculated on is that which is announced by the FIA immediately after saturday qualifying. Therefore any subsequent penalties will not be taken into account."

But these are previous penalties. So, in the spirit of the law, what I want to know is:

a) can a manufactorer make a tyre with larger band below the surface?
b) can a team make a wing that flexes under the allowed margin, but causes diofference on downforce?

... wait... no... I want to know how Nassa's time will be counted.

And the rules say as well:


"List your guess of the top 10 qualifiers (ON THE GRID) in Sepang. This year this will mean the qualifying order after the Saturday qualifying session."

But is the Q order the same as the "top 10 qualifiers (ON THE GRID)" ?

E.g. what if Massa changed his engine but reaches Q3?

I'm puzzled!

I'm confused! Are we going with the actual times or the grid positions after all the f'ing engine penalties? :confused:
