------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than ten points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the ignore list for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the ignore list you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher brother you mean. Don't use the abbreviation Mont, as it could mean either Montoya or Monteiro. Avoid all other forms of misinterpretable namings that I have failed to mention here.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship ignore list can still participate in Rate the race.

Well, first let me say I am amazed. A couple of hours and Nico is the new messiah and Massa is being hunted with pitchforks.

I should be used with this BB by now, n'est pas?

Anyway, it was a great race. We see that Renault and Ferrari are pretty even, but McLaren is probably faster than both - afetr all, managing those times with that load of fuel... impressive.
So, congrats and honor mention to the Chrome Drivers duo, to Ron Dennis, Nobert Haug and the Mercedes boys.
Toyota seems to be lost. TV people said they are building a completelly new car. Is so, they indeed are more lost than a blind person in the middle of a crossfire.

So, let's see:

2 points to Michael Schumacher. Ferrari undertand well the fuel load rule for qualies, but not so well the 110% rule on the 3rd part of the saturday show. Who knows, a lap more on tracks on the first leg could do all the difference to Schumacher. Anyway, a great show, and his expression on podium means we can expect a lot from the german. Also, 2 points to Kimi Raikkonen, a real, real classic strategic race. Flawless sunday, after a saturday to forget. And to Fernando Alonso, who showed lots of skills in the right moment. Too bad his complaining about the other drivers on front of him.

1 point gang Well, the young and the experient shined today. Nico Rosberg, helped with the light fuel load, did a stellar race, in an very good weekend. And David Coulthard, great blocking manouvers. Few drivers can show that kind of classic moves after being pushed to outside the tracks. Yay, cubehead.
Also one have to praise Jenson Button, for providing us a race full of emotions, and for being superior to his teammate in every aspect the whole weekend. . And Felipe Massa. His saturday was great, but this point goes because he recognized his fault on getting too fast on Alonso, and receiving too much front air, causing his Ferrari to spin. This kind of honesty is rare on F-1.

Satisfaction despite the lack of points of Massa and no Button on Podium, I give the season starter a good 8
Quality Qualies need work. Nevertheless, Bahein circuit is great, we saw 3 different teams more or less in the same level - And Honda just inches behind - and we saw fights, overtakings... 8

M. Schumacher - 3p Solid qualifying, solid race, 110% rule in quali made a difference between win or lose in the race, this a quali element which will effect drivers races.

K. Raikkonen - 2p-one stop strategy? perhaps the ideal solution, great pace

N. Rosberg - 2p-exceptional rookie performance

Alonso 1p-great race, but quali error cannot be ignored, could of perhaps gotten pole and controlled the race and been more conservative, made the race harder work for himself, ultimately he won or lost it due to great pitwork of his team, however he could of had this race in his pocket from quali onwards had he made no error.

Webber-1p Out alone, but solid drive, no fastest laps, different strategy, doesn't mean he wasn't good - 1p
J. Button - 1p-clutch problem, solid performance to beat Montoya.

I couldnt give 3's because i wanted to recognise a few different drivers. Rosberg, Kimi, Alonso and MS were all brilliant however.

Rosberg 2 (very impressive debut)
Raikkonen 2 (brilliant drive from the back of the grid)

M Schumacher 1 (great battle with FA)
Alonso 1 (great battlewith MS)
Klien 1 (very strong race)
Button 1 (fought very hard despite setbacks)
Massa 1 (for his speed)

Raikkonen 3 (Faultless and easily outpaced teammate)
M.Schumacher 3 (Back to his high standard)
Alonso 2 (Superb, except for his qualifying stumble)
Rosberg 1 (Amazing for a rookie, but errors in both qualifying and the race, which
cost him a ton of points. Don't see how others give him 3 points, what
does he get if he actually makes no mistakes? a five? )
Button 1 (Fine performance and maybe a little bit unlucky. Barrichello who?)

Räikkönen 3 (Trademark climb again. Perfect)
Rosberg 3 (Should be 2 because of bad qualifying and mishap in the start, but I excuse him for being a rookie. Absolutely the best F1 race debyte I've seen.)
Alonso 2 (Flawless, nice manouvre in getting ahead of Schumi)
M Schumacher 1 (Is he getting a bit soft? Solid.)
Coulthard 1
