------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than ten points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the ignore list for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the ignore list you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher brother you mean. Don't use the abbreviation Mont, as it could mean either Montoya or Monteiro.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship ignore list can still participate in Rate the race.

Fisichella 3 points (pole, win)
Alonso 2 points (nice race, fastest lap)
Button 2 points (looks unimpressive but still on podium)
Rosberg 1 point (rookie and 3rd in second qualification of F1 career)
Massa 1 point (sneaked from back to 5th)
Montoya 1 point (well, he anyway was 4th)

Quality 5 (boring, not great battles like at Bahrain)
Satisfaction 6 (too much engine failures, Kimi retired in first lap, no great battles, dark sky)

The race had a great potential, hurt by the Sepang circuit. Probably because it's Tilke's first design, but the later tracks he made are much more interesting and provide better races. Anyway.

3 points to italian Giancarlo Fisichella, finally showing what he was hired for. Flawless weekend

2 points To Felipe Massa, for driving his car from last to 5th, ahead of his teammate. Great show, solid drive, to shut some critics up. Also to Fernando Alonso, great saturday tatics, better start.

1 pont gang first, Nico Rosberg, great saturday, ahead of competition; to´Jenson Button, showing the strenght of Honda; and Ralf Schumacher, bringing a ray of hope to Toyota, what they needed the most after the desaster it was the first race.

Satisfaction: I'd give 8, all the drivers deserved their place on points
Quality: Mostrly because FIA and their insane rules of qualifying and wings, no one knows exactly what to expect from a race. Please, make some clear rules. Entertaining race, but the padock antics low the rate to 6
