Have been trying to model the Coventry Climax engine but find I'm having some difficulties with the details. Am now wondering if anyone here has any pictures that show the details of the engine.
Thanks for any help

The Motor Museum in Coventry have several examples plus and there may be some stuff in their extensive archive which has been located in a new fire protected zone and will be open for business after Easter. I should be there for a preview on Monday 10th april so let me know.
Also the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust at the Browns Lane site in Coventry may be able to help.

News just this week in 'Autocar' that the historic Browns Lane site has been sold the last of the operations there the veneer shop and the museum are very soon to move to an expanded science park at the expanded Whitley technical centre part of an ongoing process of consolidation to save tens of millions each year.

The Disk Rotors look overly thick for the period??.....the Ignition Leads look overly thick compared to the elegant fuel lines goin to the trumpets.

It may not be that site and it may be a complete coincidence - but I don't think it is.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I've not been happy with that site for a while, I've been working on an alternative and have now changed the link. Unfortunately I'm having to put up with pop-up adverts for the moment but pop-up blockers do seem to stop them.

And I would like to ask for a 'small' favour- could You pls. make a 3D model of the contemporary helmet (and share it with me); I'd dearly like to lay my hands on one to try out different paint-schemes. Pretty pleeeeaaaase.
Or maybe a model from few years lateer:

The 25 ran with a yellow stripe from the 1963 British Grand PrixOriginally posted by Wolf
Excellent work, FW. But I should raise the point about the stripe- I think only Lotus 33 was ran with yellow stripe, whereas 25 was solid green...

I'll see what I can do, I need to do something as an accessory.

Not modeling at any particular scale, just modelling each part relative to each other.

Have you ever tried a model with see through bodywork colouring ?....
a lot of your chassis detailing effort is lost in the final rendering.

I've done this one....
But the transparency wasn't too high so there was a lot hidden, I may give it another go later
