I can't be arsed to check my bookkeeping from previous seasons so I'm not totally sure but this may have been the most difficult round ever (that's 'ever' as in 2.167 seasons of F1 Pools). In fact, our guesses were mostly so pitiful and off the mark (a phenomenal 30 % strike rate!) that I was temporarily tempted to re-name the game as F1 Tools.
Anyhoo, decided against that because some people actually racked up fairly respectable, untoolish points totals.Which brings me to the results of round 3. [fanfare] Ta-da! [/fanfare] Al. excels in qualifying and comfortably maintains his lead in the race. shays' heroic charge from a midgrid starting position nets him a second place while dnbn who qualified on the front row does a Button and finishes third. Good job, guys, congrats!

And the overall standings after three rounds (below). Hmm, this is starting to look conspicuously familiar. Reigning double champion dnbn has found his way to the top of the pile again. He's even opened up a bit of a lead over second-placed Al. whose win in Australia gained him a whopping 15 places in the standings. an1res improves to third. Generally speaking, those who were midpack or below after round 2 tended to gain places while the leaders floundered a bit. But obviously it's still very close overall.
