------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than ten points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the ignore list for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the ignore list you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher brother you mean. Don't use the abbreviation Mont, as it could mean either Montoya or Monteiro.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship ignore list can still participate in Rate the race.

2006 ratings:

GP Quality Satisfaction

Bahrain 7.18 6.77

Malaysia	4.73 4.70

1pt - Webber, Alonso

I'm sorry, but the coverage was so bad I've not got a clue if anyone else had a good race/weekend

Quality: 5 could be higher, but I knew Alonso couldn't get past

I agree about the coverage, we missed a pile of the race. I don't even recall hearing Webbers name, save for once, or Massa.

Michael Schumacher: 3 points -faultless, plus you could add the extra pressure of winning at a ferrari home track.
Mark Webber: 2 points-consistent
Juan Pablo Montoya: 2 points-getting better at Imola
Felipe Massa: 1 point
Villeneuve- 1
Button -1

Satisfaction: 10-nothing but a MS win for the tifosi after a ferrari draught
Quality: 10-people complain about the track, but I was there in person, and it's a blast, the best drivers challenge in kerb riding, and 2 drivers went for the win, it doesn't get any better, last year Alonso held MS for 12 laps, and it was meant to be exciting, well MS did the same thing for longer and made his pit strategy work, I say it's more exciting, tv coverage doesn't do the atmosphere at the track justice, the quality was better if you had the views I had lol, don't let the tv camera angels brain wash you. Best race of the year for pure driving/no dramatics and too many safety cars.

Voting closed. Ponder the concept of beauty while I extract the Voting results with yoga and plain old fashioned shamanism as preferred tools.
