I'm trying to contact Mr. de Riu to see if he's got a spare photo of himself.

Ted Whiteaway - another Holy Grail!

The Holy Grail has been found :) - http://www.oldracing...r/Ted_Whiteaway

Thanks to Gergely Gabris for improving the quality of the shot - which is from a slide in 1958 from Ted's daughter.

I'm half a decade late, but thanks so much! Only Giovanni de Riu and André Testut missing, then we have the full set.

I'm going to reupload the photo of Theo Fitzau Jnr. taken at Paul Griefzu's funeral as I found a little more information on him:

According to a 2007 article, the Fitzaus of Köthen, East Germany were soap manufacturers. Theodor Fitzau Snr and his brother Dr. Paul Fitzau were two of six children who inherited the soap business from their father, and they set up "Brothers Fitzau GmbH", operating from Heinrichstrasse 13, Köthen. The German racing driver we know was the son of Theo Snr and was named Theodor Heinrich Fitzau. His nickname was "Der Rasender Seifensieder" ("The breakneck soap boiler" according to Google...)
