Very small selection of photos from today's Classic Endurance Series race at Spa-Francorchamps.

Porsche 908/03 / BMW CSL / Porsche 911 RSR




This Gulf Porsche 917K and Chevron B19 had a tremendous battle for second place the first couple of laps, until...




...the Chevron tried to overtake the Porsche, which caused the latter to spin.





The Chevron then took second place, only to lose it again a few laps later, when a small mistake caused gearbox trouble...





...and the driver was lucky to get the car going again, though the Porsche passed him again to take second place.





None of that mattered to the unchallenged winner: Stefano Rosina with his Lola T70 MK3B:

Have you got any information about that Luigi BMW CSL ? I have never seen that car in the race reports of the 70's magazins.
