"Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines or how I flew from London to Paris in 25 hours 11 minutes" from 1965 is a quite hilarious film about an air race back in 1910.

Almost half of the film takes part on a combined aerodrome and race track called "Brookley" and even if the film concentrates on the airplanes there are several scenes where veteran cars including an Itala can be seen practicing (in clockwise direction) on the banked oval.

Well, it is not hard to see the place is highly inspired by Brooklands but how and where was the film made? Did they rebuild part of Brooklands in Hollywood? Were the cars original ones borrowed form some museum or car collection? Anyone here knowing any details?
