Would any Nostalgia Forum members have results for the 17 March 1962 B.A.R.C. event at Oulton Park?

My specific question: looking at the B.A.R.C. Gazette for April 1962, I see a Marcos GT "Gullwing" lined up next to a GSM Delta and a Lotus Elite in the starting grid photo (pgs. 60-61) for the first race. The race was won by Derrick Astle in his big Austin-Healey.

Who was the driver of this particular Marcos GT, please? I am trying to identify it for my early Marcos racing records. Many thanks in advance for your assistance!

Best Regards,

The BARC were smart that day and ran the 2 handicap races at the start. the Marcos would have been favourabvly handicapped. Derrick Astle in ex works 3000 DA3 won, followed by Lord Cross in SP250 and Doc Merfield in his 1340 Anglia.

Two Marcoses were slated to race that day, no 70 G W John, black, and 71 C M McLaren in a red one, both in the 5 lap scratch race, but the programme lists only McLaren in event 1, a 5 lap hcap, with 71 on 40 secs.. Full results will be in the BARC results book.

C. M. McLaren's first name was Chris, by the way.

DCN, many thanks, I thought it was one and the same. IIRC he went on to race other stuff, which for the moment slips my memory, anno domini effect.
