Wasnt too sure where to post this, but hopefully here is ok.
Some lovely cars turned up. Was a great day. Oh and the tall guy talking to me in 2 of the shots is Eugene from Big Brother.

Yep, some terrific cars there this year!

Paint job of the show had to be on that Thunderbird in your pics (page 1, line 3, far right) although I suspect that no picture could ever do it justice.........looked like the paint was a foot thick and seemed alive!!!!

BTW, would anyone here like to lend me the £3500 needed to buy the almost pristine low mileage VX Ventora FD? ;)

I wonder if at some time it might have been a full factory Martini car from 20 odd years ago, or maybe just a replica ?

It was a replica. I spoke to the guy for a while. He was rather laid back, or totally incoherrent, one of the two. Didnt get much joy from him, but i know a lot of work went into it.
The Thunderbird was fantastic, but my favourite was the kit based car that resembled a cross between a Maser 250F and Ferrari. It took him 4.5 years to build and obviously the vintage looks of the old Maser inspired him.
There were some lovely Vette's there and Mustangs.

Great pics, SSSS! Several cars there that I've never seen before. I do have one correction for you: the odd-looking white sedan you have labeled as a Studebaker is a Plymouth Valiant.

You're right :) . From a distance i just pressumed it was the Lark Royale. Thanks for the correction!!

Slightly O/T, did anyone else see "Saxondale" on BBC2 last night? They had a brief 'American Muscle Car' Festival bit, with a Clarkson-a-like, and Toomy S making p---ck of themselves. Good series I reckon so far !!

Nice set of pics.

907 UXD looks more D-Type than C-Type to me (well it would, wouldn't it?)
