Can anyone help with this query?
The 1st Collier Memorial Trophy race was held in 1950, the 2nd one at Vero Beach in 1952 and the 3rd one at MacDill AFB in 1953.
Does anyone have the dates and venues for the 4th and 5th Memorial races please?
(The 6th one was held at Venice, Florida, in 1958)
Thanks
Terry

Have you tried asking Bill Green at the Research Center at WG? He or Cameron Argetsinger might help you.

See if this helps:

"Unsurprisingly, following his bother’s death, Miles’ mother strictly forbid him to ever race again. He did of course, clandestinely. In April 1954, at the age of 40, Miles fell victim to polio. In September of that year, the two brothers who had been primary exponents in the growth of American road racing, often behind the wheel of an MG, were honored with the inaugural Collier Brothers Memorial Trophy Race for MGs at the Watkins Glen Grand Prix."
