I have this from Jim Geldert:

I'm fairly certain it's the Arciero Ferrari 375 driven to his first major victory
by Dan Gurney, at Palm Springs in April 1958, and I think it is at Palm Springs.
The car seems to be traveling northwest along the westish edge of the 'paddock'.
Our (Lester Nehamkins') viewpoint must be with our (his) back to the S/F straightaway.

Can anyone say who is the driver?

I betcha it's the Arciero mechanic, Dick Pruitt (sp?)...would you believe I just happened on this 1959 Pomona stuff on Ebay, which includes a photo of Arciero, Gurney, and Pruitt...I mentioned it to Gordie Glyer, but maybe you would be interested in buying it, Frank!

Thank you, Vince.

That fellow surely has the hairline to be Pruitt:

I'd have jumped at the eBay purchase,
but someone got there before me.

I'm pretty sure I have that "program",
just not in such good condition, and not
falling readily to hand, although it seems
to me I read the seller's included note
just recently: "I told you it wasn't in good
shape!"

Thanks again,
