Hi F1 history buffs:
Only once were four French drivers on place 1-4 in a Grand Prix.
Question: Which of these guys was not in the top 4?
Patrick Tambay , Jacques Laffite or Didier Pironi?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Marcel,
Yes - it is actually part of Krombacher's F1 game. I usually do my own research, but from time to time I just get lost...

4U, Dirk: For the right answer think ahead
four days and then think back twenty-
four years and look for the guy who arrived in
fourteenth place.

Not so. The first such occurrence was in the 1913 GP de l'ACF at Amiens. The last (in a Grande Épreuve) was in a race some 69 years later (as Reinhard says), and I suspect that there were others in between.Originally posted by Vermont#1

Thanks for the input! It was poor J. Laffite who saw his fellow countrymen come in 1-4 in 1982's French GP.

Tim,
I should have formulated my question more precise and include the notion "since 1950";
Thank you, too, for your input!
