Frogman / isynge

I'll get our technical guru to look into those issues and get back to you.

Ref the Lotus supplement - it should be downloadable, same as all the digi issues - let me know if you have any problems.

Cheers

Jim

Have checked with Geoffrey, our tech guru (aka Hack). He says there was indeed a bug, but it's been fixed. Apologies for any hassle caused, please keep me informed if any other problems arise.

Best wishes

Jim

Fantastic - working now. Many thanks for the quick resolution of the issue.

I'm trying to use My Autosport for the first time, but I'm not able to configure anything. I can't add boxes. When I remove, or move the default boxes, my changes aren't saved. IE8 throws the following error:
Webpage error details

I've tried this on IE7, IE8 (with & without compatibility mode) & Firefox across several computers. Any ideas?

Thanks,
js

I'm having a few problems adding content to my.autosport.

I go through the "Add Content" button, create box from an RSS feed, preview it successfully. Click on "Save & Add Box" which generates a success message, then return to tab but content has not been added.

I've tried this using a variety of browsers (Chrome and IE) and operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, OS X 10) with exactly the same results.

Any ideas?

Same for me. Problems also continue into IE9. :(

I have noticed that there is no longer any week old Mark Hughes content...

Why is that and when will it return?

The "Download PDF" option on all the news items and articles isn't working for me. Clicking the link just gives a blank page, both in Firefox 4 and IE9. It was working fine last time I tried it about 3 weeks ago.

Any ideas?

I'm having problems with the "My Autosport" page. I'm not able to "add content" and I don't have any content at all at the moment.

almost the same as the previous post, although I do have content. I have tried to add an rss feed but none the of the links on the "Add Content" page work, and all of them show a "http://my.autosport....tent.php?tab=1# " link on my status bar. I've tried Opera, Safari and Firefox, using OSX10.8

Is there any way to tell what forum threads have already been read, from the widgets on the my.autosport.com page?  I get a mix of blue and greyed-out thread titles, and a mix or yellow or grey double-right arrows, none of which seem to correlate to which threads I have completely read or not?

(I tried to attach an image of the widgets I see, but for some reason the only option is to reference a URL?)

Edit: I've just noticed that if I click on the thread title, it correctly greys out when I've read to the bottom of the thread.  But if I "Open link in new tab" (which I do so that I can open all of the threads that I want to read at once, rather than having to keep swapping back to the my.autosport.com page), then the greying-out doesn't work.  Is that a bug that can be fixed?

The news calendar stopped working in 2015 - all the dates are greyed out.  Thanks, -randy

I tried to post a picture, but it won't let me.  Try http://www.autosport...it=Jump to Date

Don't know if these questions that I have has been asked before. Can anyone else see my warning points? Also how long before they are removed if they are ever removed?

I would have thought if someone hasn't fallen foul of the mods in a few years then they should be given a clean slate right?

The subject has indeed been discussed before:

Thread about warning points

To summarize:

Only you and the moderators can see your warning points.

They do not "expire" after a set time, unlike points on a driving license.

They do not add up until an automatic ban is reached at a certain number of points, again, unlike a driving license.

They cannot be exchanged for air-miles.

It is sometimes possible to have a warning point as a result of a technical procedure - at one time being given access to the Paddock Club gave a warning point*.

*Being given access to the Paddock Club still results in a "warning" being issued, but it now has a value of zero points.

my.autosport keeps logging me out. This happens on any device and is fast becoming really painful!

I use My Autosport too. I have used it for years, and the 'new' website seems like a step backwards in every way for finding relevant content.

But the login/out errors (I just reload the My Autosport bookmark 3 times; refreshing alone usually doesn't work) do make it quite a pain.

Progress apparently. Force a chance and hope people get used to it - that doesn't make the change an improvement.

To me it seems like it is very much a thing these days to create webpages what have lots of big pictures, some irrelevant information and no real content, i.e  i had a hard time finding relevant information about a product on adobe.com, but their webpage looks smashing :p  . My.autosport.com has all the relevant information i need, all in 1 page and almost no scrolling, but i guess I'm just too old for change...

Good thing too, or would have changed by posting habits.

Excellently equitable. :smoking:

I use My.autosport.com for more than a decade and I am experiencing same issues. Will it be supported in future? :)
