Working on the Rodger Ward Cooper-Buick (CM/4/59 I believe). This car was raced at least into '68.
Here is the trail of ownership as I have it:
Rodger Ward
Ed Hamil
Roy Kumnick
Fred Pipin
Each year the bodywork was "updated". There is a picture of Fred Pipin in the car at the '67 June Sprints in the Road America book. I'd love to see more pictures of that version of the car. At that point it had more squared off rear bodywork with a spoiler. The car was purple.
Here is a shot of the car while Roy had it, and still looking fairly cooper-like.
Thanks, Chuck
Anyone have pictures of the Ward Cooper at '67 June Sprints? Fred Pipin

I have loads of photos of that car in its various guises. Roy Kumnick in 1964 when it was purple, also in 1964 when it was white! In 1966 also. In 1967 when Pipin drove it to win the June Sprints. Finally, in 1968 when a chap named Frank Kloski drove it, now painted red, as I recall.
Interestingly enough, all this time, post-Rodger Ward, the car was powered by a Ford V-8. However, through the Kumnick and Pipin years, it was owned and entered by Roy's company, Tero Corvette!
