Last Saturday, at Spa-Francorchamps, Sir Stirling Moss shared the wheel with Gavin Pickering in a 1953 OSCA MT4 2AD (OSCA di Fratelli Maserati SpA. Taileo 1159/Motore 1505).
The owner of the car is Roger Earl. The little red car was delivered to Briggs Cunningham (15-03-1953) and has raced the:
1953 SSCA GP Corsa di Thompson (1st overall-Taileo),
1953 6th US GP Watkins Glen (2nd overall-Taileo),
1954 Rallye du Beaujolais (2nd overall-Motore),
1954 Coupe de Salon Monthléry (4th overall-Motore),
1955 Sebring 12 Hours (Retired 7th Hr-Taileo),
1955 Corsa di Pebble Beach (1st in class-Taileo),
1955 Mille Miglia (2nd in class-Motore) and the
1955 12 Hr de Hyeres (retired-Motore).
Also present were Richard Attwood who drove a 1962 Jaguar E-type in the 6 Hours race, Jackie Oliver (BMW) and John Fitzpatrick (Ford Galaxie).
