Proof Nigel Mansell could be funny as well as whiney:

And he went mental too:

A great battle, with some decent comments:

Plus a great way to do an interview that most modern F1 drivers could learn from, think before you speak you dullards:

Not really a "discovery" as I posted the videos myself.

Mike Kimberley (Jaguar XJ13 Project Manager and later CEO of Lotus) giving a presentation on the XJ13 development story.

The Lec /Purley mechanic in that video with the beard, Greg Field, is a regular at the TNF Hertfordshire film show. Lovely bloke. Amazing film considering it was made for kids TV. Last broadcast in 1982

Thanks for finding that!
That is what we of a certain age mean when we talk of "our era" of motor racing and racing drivers. Three of the first four finishers were older then than anyone who raced in last years British GP, albeit the winner (Moss) was 25 as was Vettel last year.

Although not credited on You Tube, this is part of the well-known Castrol film covering three races from the 1955 GP season which is well worth getting hold of if you don't already have it (as are all of Castrol's offerings from the time). Also included is their film of the 1958 Belgian GP won by Tony Brooks in the Vanwall.

I found something amazing on the Brunswick Films site!

If you go there (www.brunswickfilms.com), try out the search engine - for example put "1970" in it. When you click on some of the results (I checked only a few F1 GPs) you will be redirected to a page containing embedded QuickTime player with a lot of video material from race you chose!

This doesn't seem to be the case for every race there, though. Still, I think it is absolutely amazing, that Brunswick decided to show people such unique material!

Presumably it's driven by Jeremy Clarkson - same lack of car control on the first few corners, so I gave up.

Meet the Hills! Bette, Brigitte, Damon, Samantha and Graham, that is. Oh, and by the by, a few other people like Bob Dance, John Coombs or that bloke who looks like Santa, and posts quite a bit here but his name escapes me - is it Neck Tie, or something similar...

But do tell, Barry! [If we are allowed to enjoy a little future nostalgia]

Apologies for the lack of any obvious motorsport connection, but if you'd like to take a 1950s drive around the streets of London, in colour, then ckick here:

30 mins of stuff from Canapea Designs, simply mouth watering collection of cars being restored here, kind of like Goodwood but without the crowds, I'd be surprised if there is not at least one car in this lot that you wished you owned at some point in your life, I'd happily take the lot enjoy.

Your link is so jumbled I cannot begin to unscramble it and see what it was supposed to link to. I had hoped to rearrange it to make it work, which was why I started this reply.

ETA even searching youtube for "Canapea Designs" gives nothing that seems to have any connection with motor cars.

The company in question is Canepa Design, so try that in the search facility. Comes up with quite a few clips then....

There's definitely a Viva in the 1965 Armstrong 500

The HA was a Viva, the HB was a Torana. There was a big difference in local content between the two.

I recall picking up an Australian hitch-hiker (in NZ) back in the day and her asking what all those cars were that looked like Holden Toranas (we got Vivas in NZ)
