Any of you Americans know anything about a Centaur? Built in Michigan in the late sixties, used a Mini drivetrain behind the driver, tubular frame and not bad looking fibreglass body.

When I saw the photos from your link, I was instantly reminded of the car that appeared on "Man from U.N.C.L.E." a hit TV series here in the states. When I went to the main page of that link, I found that it was modified by the same guy, legendary customizer, Gene Winfield.

A friend here in Vancouver just came up with this link--A car very like this but with a Mini Cooper S engine/transmission was here in Vancouver until recently but has now disappeared.
