Brazil RESULTS
It's been a long F1 season this year. Our man, The Takuminator managed to attend all 18 races and even finished most of them!
Before Brazil, I reminded you that if you want to win, you can't play it safe. Make a bold move and pray - go rich or go broke. And so some did - and rewarded they were. Takuma managed an unprecedented 48 laps in Brazil before being lapped.
D82's guess of 57 laps came closest, while panzani and an1res were not far behind.
Overall RESULTS
This year is a special year in the history of the "How long will it take to lap x" competition. For the first time ever, a prize was at stake:

Once again, I'm not making this up, this bunny is from the official Takuma Sato store. I customized it with a "HLWITTLS 2006" print on the shirt. (click the thumbnail for details).
The HLWITTLS season started in Bahrain with 56 players, including, for the first time as well, 3 former champions. The season promised to be a close one. On the way, champions and rookies alike dropped off and fell victim to the length of the season. Only one, garth_b, the defending champion managed to stay in contention. Though it was former champion pungzilla who managed to claim an early lead and made it look like he was going to run away with the championship.
It was the Grand Prix of Monza, Italy, when sek managed to grab the lead of the HLWITTLS championship. And he would not relinquish it until the end! Yes, I would like to congratulate....
