A quiz should be lighthearted fun. Hence death and injury should not be part of a quiz.

Hmm, wonder what I'd win in whatever quiz you are doing.

1. Marco, Michael, Mario, Jeff, John, Aldo
2 Jacques
3 Knickerbrook
4 Gary Brabham
5 Spa
6 ???
7 Ian Stewart and ???
8 Taki Inoue
9 (What Vicuna said) - Rob Walker, Cooper, Brabham, Lotus
10 ?????

If its 1978 it was just about everybody.

Hunt spun off in 1977 no idea if he was punted off or did it on his own.

The answers given so far for question 9 are wrong
They omit Ecurie Vienne, Winkelmann Racing, NART etc etc
(The question doesn't say "F1" )

David, unfortunately it does and even gives it the appropriate emphasis, ie "f1"

Apologies to all
I was going by the title of the thread and the introductory sentence and thought I'd read the actual question properly as well
(I believe I'm now of an age which entitles me to free eye tests  )

According to Lang:

" ... Hunt was forced out of third place. And forced out seemed to be the operative word when he spun at the first chicane after very nearly being shoved against Jarier's ATS Penske by Reutemann as they came up to lap it.
