It seems that there was early racing in Mexico City, with races being held at the Hipodromo de Peralvillo in the early 1900s, with Barney Oldfield taking a trip there in 1911. But where exactly was the venue? It seems that it is now an "Exhipodromo", but the online mapping services I have tried can't seem to locate it.

Well, I know tha the first race in México was a race in 1899 or 1900 in an "hipódromo", so its probably that one, though I saw a photo once but I can´t find it and if you are looking for the configuration of the track, it was a horse racing dirt oval, probably with the horse racing measures
