A young bloke who used to work for me owned the car in Sydney, minus engine if I recall. He had a touch of the shorts at some stage and sold the engine, and was at that stage attempting to re-engine it with a Rover v8. You are going to ask me his name but I've just got the grey-matter sorting through the archives out the back at present - it's a slow process these days, but it should surface soon....Originally posted by Ray Bell

Yes, he sold the original Repco Brabham engine because he was short of money. Regretted it afterwards of course, but too late then. I do seem to remember that he still had the injection though, for what it's worth. He was very sheepish about it all, realising the enormity of what he'd done.....Originally posted by cosworth bdg
