Graeme Cameron, recently has been racing in the NZ Porsche series. I note also, fom a search here, that he (presumably) raced in a Commodore back in the 1980s. Is this the same Graeme Cameron who raced a "KRB Mk6" (I believe a Titan in disguise) FF in Vancouver in 1974? Age would seem to be in the right ball park.

Same guy.
I knew him in the 1970s and met with him again fairly recently.

Thanks Tom.
I raced a Merlyn in 74/5 at Westwood. Graeme soundly thrashed me.
I think we have spoken via email about Bryan Evans, he was racing a (Royale?) FF then- must have been before he drove for you I guess.
Nice web site by the way.
Regards

Graeme Cameron has a rich racing history in New Zealand, running a Cosworth engined Fraser (Caterham) and two beautiful semi classic car called a Beattie Sports, before the Porsche, and lots before that. The First Beattie looks like an early front engined Lola (now reproduced by redline sports cars) and another had a Lotus 23 look to it. This was modernised bringing it up to a 70s Chevron look. Graeme ran Can Am Construction Company. Kevin Beattie is a very talented engineer and produces some superb cars.

Mick
Actually, Tom could add some meat AND potatoes to this thread...just had a look on pp. 276-277 of his book "Sports Car Road Racing in Western Canada"...tells about Cameron's KRB...Tom? (Or maybe just buy the book!)
Any more Westwood people "down under" now?
Vince Howlett, Victoria, B.C., Canada
