Can anyone provide information about the Interserie racer Kurt Hild after 1987?

That was the last year that he raced the "Deutsch Special Porsche" a turbo 908 variant entered by Deutsch Brothers Racing. I saw this car raced in the UK at the 1986 Thruxton round of the Interserie to a 7th place.

Hild had a long career in the Interserie; also racing a Lola 380, a TOJ and a Porsche 910. It was in the latter car that he was involved in the Pedro Rodriguez fatal crash at the Norisring in July 1971. Indeed many accused Kurt Hild at the time, but later investigations cleared him of blame and he returned to race in Interserie for many years.

Hild was down to race the Walter Lechner Porsche 962 in Hungary in April 1988 but suffered an accident in practice and did not start. Does anyone have details of this accident? Did Kurt Hild ever return to racing?

Hild had one final race on the 27th of November 1988 - the GTE World Challenge of Tampa at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

Hild co-drove with Norbert Przybilla a Porsche CK5 for Spectry Racing, finishing 9th:

I have just come across this in-car footage on YouTube of Hild racing at the Nurburgring. Although headed "Group C", that can't be as it is dated 1979. A comment suggests that he was in a TOJ and that fits with it being the 1979 1000 Km race on the Nordschleife. Hild drove car number 105, a Group 6 2 litre TOJ.
