The reason for my Hawthorne request was a little brush up for my data on NZers racing in the European F2 Champions, 1967-1984: I have counted eight - Amon, Hawthorne, Hulme, Lawrence, McLaren, McRae, Nicholson, Thackwell - is that correct?
In case, I'm missing two more full names: What about John Nicholson and Graeme Lawrence?
And for Graeme, a question about his family background: Doug was his father, wasn`t he? (I seem to remember to have read this in Sandy Myhre`s book on 50 years of NZ racing, but I'm not sure, and the book is not at hand!)
Again, many thanks in advance!

Lawrence did F2 for the Chequred Flag, Nicholson was involved in F Atlantic, but may have done the odd F2.
You might find that Hull, Stone and McCully did some F2.

Doug is his dad - 90 plus. He was with GL and his bros/sons at E.Creek for the Tasman Revival.
