I had owned the Scarab ICF car, the one disguised as a Brabham RT19 and used as a movie background prop for ten years, and sold it, plus the front engined F1 car's aluminum body, to Ali Lugo in 1986. Many years earlier I had run the original Traco 215 180 degree billet cranked engine with Phil Remington cross-over Weber manifold in the ex-Millikin Lotus 22.

I would like to contact the current owner. I have much background material and history as to how it became a maligned fugitive and how fine heliarc welds helped it to resurface.

As asides; I was often driven to Cal Club tech inspection by Miles in the Q-ship Gough Industries MGTF before I got my licence and his quotes kept me out of a lot of trouble.
