8 Unusual Guesses 2007 - Season Questions
#1
Posted 27 February 2007 - 05:36
I will start things off with a "Championship" round - 8 questions pertaining the upcoming season. The result of this round will be added to the final score at the end of the season.
Here are the questions:
1. Who will be the first of the 24 announced drivers not to be on the grid of a GP (for any reason...even if is due to "tennis elbow")?
2. What will be David Coulthard's final standing in this year Drivers' Championship?
3. How many different drivers will be on the podium all over the season?
4. Which race(s) will have the most number of DNFs?
5. How often will the pole-setter win the GP this year?
6. What will be the point different between teams that finished second and fourth in Constructors' Championship? (in interval of 5 points..0-5,6-10,11-15...you get the idea).
7. Which driver will be the most outclassed by his teammate based on the final Championship standings (i.e. not points)?
8. How many races can Sato go without taking another car out?
One point for every correct answer.
Dateline: before the first friday practice at Melbourne GP.

Do you mean for the first time or all together? If you mean for the first time I say 1 race. If you mean alltogether I say 13 races. I would also like to point out that taking someone out is quite controversial concept when we're talking about collisions.

Can you please clarify this question. Does it mean how many consecutive races at the start of the season, or the highest number of consecutive races anytime during the season, or the total number of races?Originally posted by shays
8. How many races can Sato go without taking another car out?
Based on the wording I would bet on the latter (total number), but based on some guesses, there are other schools of thought.

8. How many races can Sato go without taking another car out?
"The number of consecutive races from the start of the season"
Example: If Sato did take another car out at the third race but stay well of others in the remaining 14 races - the answer should be 3 (i.e. up to and including the race that Sato did take another car out).

Can't edit my post after the rule clarification, but I guess my vote is self explanatory like the way it is now. If not my guess is 1
