Does anyone know where a photo of Taso Mathieson can be found?
I am looking for a portrait type photo showing his face.

All help / advice gratefully received.

Georgano page 255: picture credited to Autocar and taken in 1931. He doesn't look like he was shaving at that point!

Adam

Under the title "Les Meilleurs Tours" T.A.S.O.Mathieson told of his years in racing between 1931-1953 in the publication "Le Fanatique ", in nineteen parts. Unfortunately I have not got all the issues or photocopies but there are photographs of him minus back-to-front cap, cloth helmet or helmet proper

One posed photo is with Dickie Stoop at Le Mans 1950 and another is at the award ceremony after the Bressuire GP 1953 receiving his trophy for winning his class and finishing 3rd overall in his A6GCS.

Will bring with me at our next meeting.

Probably the same photo with Dickie Stoop/#30 Frazer-Nash/Le Mans 1950 can be found on
page 207 in "Les 24 Heures du Mans"/Tome I - Moity/Teissedre/Bienvenu - Editions J. P. Barthélémy/1992.

Page 23 in "Le Fanauto"/no. 204/October 1985 :
Two photos (no pure portrait type photos) showing Mathieson at the wheel of his 8C3000 Maserati/Bois de Boulogne 1946.
