In 1981 a german constructor call GRS make it's debut at Silverstone with a GRS TC001 fitted with a BMW Mader engine. The boss was Gunther Richter.
It was drived by the young Jochen Dauer.
But after two races (Silverstone DNS and Hockenheim DNF) the whole thing vanished...
Who know more about this brief story ?

John Thompson built the car with assistance of former ATS and Maurer engineer, Gunther Richter. Apparently there were problems with the engine and its installation. Team had limited funds and these dried up...according to Hodges's "A-Z of Racing Cars".

Even the very good Patrick Gaillard do a test in perspect for the Spa F2 race but finaly the GRS team don't come.
