Round 2 of GTG and hopefully we have solved the controversy of the first round regarding late entries. I am pleased to say that everyone got their guesses and edits in on time this round. The easter holiday obviously didn't catch anyone other than me out. Entries where down a little this round but we did manage to attract another 5 "rookies" although Ric Bol and Boost are hardly new to this game. Welcome back guys, you still have a good chance given the slow start to scoring in Melbourne.

Just a bit of housekeeping before I get on to the results proper. Where there are ties for a particular position I sort the entrant names alphabetically. I do this for no particular reason other than my personal preference for order in the world :p.

Malaysia sees a very marked improvement in the scoring. I guess that was because there were no real wild cards in the top 10 like Sato. However a bit of a surprise not to see any Renaults' up there. Top score this round went to Sergino with a very impressive 23, the missing Renaults' being the weak point in that otherwise well constructed guess. Second went to old hand coyoteBR one point back on 22. Third was a 4 way tie between Apex, Juan Kerr, LB and moanaman. Best rookie was xig on 16, a score that would have earned 2nd place last round.

The Average Grid scored 18. You remember the Average Grid don't you? Thats where I take all your guesses and work out the average guess of where you think each driver will qualify. That score was good enough for 7th along with 6 others. The Super Stat scored 16. Super Stat is based on the average qualifying position as published by Autosport.com. This round the average qualifying position is the same as the Melbourne grid of course. WDC scored 17. This is based on the current standings in the World Drivers Championship.

Now I will let you see the complete table for Malaysia:

Fantastic response garth very impressive, thanks !
I promised I'd keep it up and I aint gonna slack off for Bahrain, I'm already thinking Massa on pole again but I'd rather wait for the Malaysian race instead of jumping the gun, there's a lot of information to be absorbed from the race yet.

Only 2 races...and i'm 9 points behind already....guess there is a jinx for the 'defending champion' in this game. Oh well...better luck next time. :cat:

Thanks garth! Great work.

I think I'd be better off just to wait and pick like Juan Kerr, sergino or coyoteBR! ;)
