------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race. Also remember that it's the driver's performance that should be rated, not the car's.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than ten points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the ignore list for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer). Motivating your own and politely discussing other peoples votes is fine, but ridiculing other people's votes will get you ignored. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which driver you mean. Votes that are too unspecific will be ignored.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship ignore list can still participate in Rate the race.

Fernando Alonso - 3 points (very fast all race - cant fault him)
Lewis Hamilton - 3 points (not as fast as Alonso but great race craft)
Kimi Räikkönen - 2 points (I was dissapointed at first but considering he had engine issues - not bad)
Nico Rosberg - 1 point (very good drive, what a shame he DNF'd)
Nick Heidfeld - 1 point (held off Massa, very consistent)

Satisfaction: 5

Well, on thing is crystal clear: Ferrari misses Ross Brawn. Things went wrong at the start from the maranello team, and what they did? They did not changed the strategy! Not one bit!
Second thing very clear, overtaking is harder and harder each year. Bring on that double rear wing, will not change a thing. Well, let's on with the points:

3 points to the wiz kid Lewis Hamilton Great start. Showed he is able to hold experienced drivers, and is a competent starter. Well done.

2 points to well, there's a reason he's twice WC. Fernando Alonso Was flawless the whole weekend.

1 point gang: Let's start with the only driver to give the GP a bit of emotion: Felipe Massa showed some will to win, some guts, showed passion, unlike his bureaucratic teammate. And what a pole, in the last moment! And let's hear it for the experience: both Giancarlo Fisichella and Jarno Trulli ended up with results superior to their cars possibilities. And also to Nick Heidfeld: he is not from the old generation, is not from the new, too, but each race he is proving to be a top quality driver. And, last but not least, Nico Rosberg Clearly showed this weekend, for those who were still on doubt, he is much more than an famous surname. Solid performance.

Too bad I have no points for Wurz, but here's the acknowledge for Wurz:

Quality : 4. Now I understand that Ross Brawn was an emotion factor untill last year. What an eventless race.
Satisfaction: 6. A formula One that punishs overtaking atempts and rewards cruising-to-win. yay.... ):

Alonso 3
Hamilton 3
Rosberg 2
Raikkonen 1
Heidfeld 1

Quality 9 (the second best team manages to get a 1-2 over the favourites. Remarkable).
Satisfaction 10 (very sorry for Rosberg, but that doesn't ruin a magical result).

This Voting is now closed! Results will be up some time after the Bahraini GP, I'm closing this one now so the Votings won't overlap. Have a nice race and welcome to the Bahrain Voting, that will open in a few hours!
