A friend of mine has asked if I know of the driver John Becker who raced in England in 1979-81.
I can't help him at all - but I'm sure somebody out there can help me pass some info back.

John Bekaert presumably - Anglo-Belgian, fine driver, very nice bloke - HWM-Jaguar, Lister-Jaguar etc - decided to pursue a career in business rather than continue racing. Died relatively young within the past five years??? Oh no, doesn't fit your dates at all - sorry pardon...

A John Becker won a United States Auto Race Marshall President's Award in 1978 while competing in the RDC Ilgen classic 4 hour enduro - is this him?
