- Piquet caused a red flag spinning in the last corner due to an electric problem.
- The trackconditions are getting better and better with an ambiant temperature of 15 C and a tracktemperature of 22 C.

Seriously, I don't like Nelson Piquet Jr., because he is very arrogant, and his results and speed don't justify this behaviour to the fellow drivers. I'm also not convinced by his testing input for Renault.

You have serious problem with the possibility of Fisichella losing his seat. Dont take it personally. Fisichella will be dropped if there is someone better. It's all in good spirit.Originally posted by clampett

I would be happy now to see Fisichella outside of a Renault and in a decent seat like Williams or Toyota.
But my antipathy towards Piquet jr. didn't started when he was bitching against Fisi. He is arrogant, loves bashing and detracting every fellow drivers (Speed - he is only in the F1 with his name, says Piquet ), and he is not that fast. If he enters Renault next year, I will support Kovalainen to wipe the floor with this guy.

Do you know how he behaves towards fellow drivers, I've heard nothing from other drivers about Nelsinho other than the usual quarrels and the odd jealousy.Originally posted by clampett
and his results and speed don't justify this behaviour to the fellow drivers.
Also you imply that if his results and speed were better/higher that then he could behave badly towards other drivers.
Obviously Renault think that him testing benefits the Renault team in some way, be it gathering data for the engineers or preparing Nelsinho for a drive in the Renault in 2008.Originally posted by clampett
I'm also not convinced by his testing input for Renault.

I don't know him either, but I read in an article a while ago that Piquet jr is a bit shy and timid and also honest, and that sometimes gives the impression of him being arrogant.Originally posted by Ilaya

Williams or Toyota are better cars than Renault? Last weekend Trulli retired the car because he couldn't drive it!

Fisichella could drive them a lot better. And it doesn't matter if you are fighting for P7 pr P9.

As has already been said, there have been no serious references to his behaviour from the other drivers.
And as for his speed and results, you're right. Anyone who can take a championship down to the final race in a spec series against the new messiah Lewis Hamilton must be slow as ****.

There are coming more and more dark clouds, the ambiant temperature has dropped a little, but the tracktemperature has gone up. Furthermore it's a pretty 'quiet' day in terms of incidents..
----
In the morning it was Coulthard that was the first to go out on track but Hamilton set the first reference point 12 minutes later with a 1:49.627 set in a 5 lap run. Then came Massa to set the fastest for a long time but at the moment it's Hamilton back on top again.
Van der Garde might actually be promoted to Albers place, I think he’s got some money to offer and after all he’s Dutch as well.

If Renault likes to drop and fight with Spyker next season a pair Heikky/Nelsinho would be perfect...
Anyway all we knows that Nelsinho has some chances just because he belongs to Flav and thanks to the brasilian sponsor linked with his name (father name).
He made nothing in GP2 to deserve a role as tester in Renault.
Anyway there are strong rumours for a seat in Williams...we'll see

Kimi gets fewer days testing this week as a reward from Mr Todt for pulling his thumb out of his arse in Magny-Cours and Silverstone.

Maybe.
Also, if Ferrari was 1 second ahead AFCA would have been singing miles.
But of course, he hasn't even mentioned Lewis being way faster.

AFCA, Thanks for all the great tech info that you post on this forum. Any idea why ferrari are testing the old wings and I also noticed there was no hole on the nose. Any reason that they would test without those upgrades that were implemented for the last few races ?
