Remember this..??,
Ayrton and my friend Enrique Mansilla... like Rocky Balboa..
Sergio Rinland and me, avoid the box championship this day...

Oh yes! Quique and I became house-mates not long after this took place, and naturally we spoke about it a few times.Originally posted by Repco von Brabham
Remember this..??,
Senna da Silva - as he was then known - basically didn't like being beaten; plain and simple! But who does?! Quique, like Tommy B, didn't take any s**t from the bloke.
A good job that I wasn't there on the scene myself, quite frankly...

Surely he called himself Ayrton da Silva in '81. Senna da Silva was an earlier incarnation from his karting days.

He was definitly using the full Ayrton Senna da Silva in 82 when I ran a car in FF2000 for Mike Brett.

Presumably Senna had had time to change out of his overalls, but still retained sufficient anger to do what he did. Obviously not a man whose temper cooled quickly.

The issue was on this way:
My friend Quique won the race, and come on in his box., steped-out os his car, and Sergio and me began to congratulations him, hang to him., and 10 minutes later, Ayrton come on and happen this thing:
Ayrton: Vocé esta maluco? argentino de mierda, como me vas hacer eso!!!
Quique Mansilla: Paráaa pibe, a mi no me toqués, brazuca cagón..!!, aprendé a perder, boludo!!
Ralph Firman: Stop, stop., you both morans.., don't heard me????
Enrique Benamo: Sergio, agarralo a este boludo.,
(Rinland catch to Ayrton and leave 10 feet to the back).
Sorry for the Spanish languaje, but was in Spanish this incident.., I don't want to translate him.., BECAUSE the translation lost the "essence" of this memorable issue..,
Is like a Italian movie., the "essence" of the movie are in the language..,;) if you translate, the essence is lost.,

I never liked this Ayrton Senna guy, I have the impression that he thought that everybody had to give way to him. Perhaps he did not know that the public do not go to circuits to see 2 or 3 cars racing.
Also, his behaviour when Prost did not admit him at Williams (1993, I think) was unbelivable, he said he had to get the best car ! Everybody want the best car ! And he forgot that he refused Derek Warwick at Lotus in 1995 !
Too selfish.
Just a Daddy's little son, as we say here.
Or the Prima Donna of Milan Scala Theatre.

I tell you what, when I put it in Babelfish it definately got lost!
Last I recall of Mansilla was being very quick briefly in CART in 85 then having a big crash at Pocono or Sanair?

I knew a doc, now deceased, who backed Batista in Cuba. As a result, he had to flee for his life when Castro came to power. Doc had been a neurosurgeon in Havana; ended up in the U.S. not knowing a word of English; picked tomatoes for the first couple of weeks he was here.

I think he learnt a lot from his friend Chico Serra who never ever thought he was in the wrong,
even if he had put the guy alongside him fully onto the grass deliberately. Dirty tactics.
