I have been sent some pics from Niccolò Ricci, a guy who found them in a private collection. They have been taken at San Piero a Sieve during some Mugello event. Could anybody identify them? Thanks!
I have just upload all of them on my Mugello page (in English, Italian available too).
Thanks,
Guido

This is the Ferraro 250LM of Casoni / Nicodemi from the 06/06/1965 event:
Possibly all pics have been taken in the same day...
Ciao,

Took a lot of guts to race a 2600 on the original size (165x400mm) tires!

Has anyone seen a new book called "Circuito del Mugello 1914-1970" by Andrea Libelli ? Maybe someone can comment on it.

Bianchi raced under pseudonym "Pablito" (think he is at the wheel of the car).
His co-driver also raced simply as "Nanni".
Nanni Galli, future Ferrari, McLaren-Alfa Romeo and Tecno Formula 1 driver, was 24 year-old at the time, probably at his racing debut.
They finished 12th overall in that monster Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint.
In the 1965 Circuito del Mugello another famous driver who raced under pseudonym, "Riccardone" (Carlo Benelli), finished 18th overall, driving his personal Mercedes Benz 230SL, whithout co-drivers, totally alone! Think that car is visible behind the Porsche 904 of Giancarlo Maestrini-Carlo Fabri #104.

The plate number is 18558-SR.
SR is the province of Siracusa, Sicily. Probably a Targa Florio driver who decided to race also the Mugello.
In the entry list there was Rosario Buondonno in an Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ #87, think he is the man.

Does anyone have photos of the ATS that's seen behind the OSCA?

Does somebody know the chassis number of the Maestrini/Fabri Porsche 904? I couldn't find any reference to it. I guess it is the same cat thet retired during the opening lap of the Targa Florio. Even Jürgen Barth doesn't mention it in his book.
I have read 904.077 (from an often controversial source...)
