Members may be interested to know that the Bira/Chula memorabilia previously held at Tredethy House, Cornwall has been returned to Chula's daughter Narisa.

Tredethy was Chula's home from the end of WWII until his death in 1963. Bira lived there for a while and was a frequent visitor.

The house is now a Hotel and changed hands a few months ago. I have been trying to arrange a visit for some time, but the new owners didn't seen that interested, despite the fact that their advertising plays on the Chula/ Bira connection.

I know that some people have stayed at Tredethy because of the connection and to view the memorabilia, so thought this post might prevent disappointment.

Stayed at Tredethy House for a night last week.It is now a very comfortable country house hotel run by a charming Italian couple. They are well aware of the history and Bira/Chula connections and Marco will chat about this after dinner. There are a couple of albums avaialble with some photos of Bira/ Chula and their dogs. The pet cemetry is in the garden.
